CBD interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) to regulate various brain and bodily functions, including inflammation regulation and immune function. Full spectrum CBD products offer many more compounds and terpenes than its competitors.

Since 2018, federal law has legalized hemp-derived CBD; however, high-inducing delta-8 THC remains classified as a Schedule 1 substance.

Hemp is a type of cannabis plant

Hemp and marijuana are the same plant, yet are grown for different purposes. Hemp can be cultivated for multiple uses including fiber production and oil extraction; health benefits include relief of anxiety and insomnia; water usage is lower when growing hemp compared with cotton; it’s more environmentally-friendly as well. Pest-resistance increases with higher nutrient content levels.

Hemp plants produce low levels of THC that do not cause psychoactive effects, while their CBD content also provides numerous health advantages. CBD compounds interact with receptors within the endocannabinoid system (ECS) to enhance mood, appetite, sleep and pain perception in individuals.

Hemp plants produce an array of terpenes, giving the plant its signature aroma and flavor. Terpenes may have therapeutic uses as well, such as increasing THC or CBD concentration levels in cannabis products; some terpenes even produce a high or cause sedation effects.

Hemp contains less than 0.3 percent THC

Farm Bill legislation has legalized American horticulturists’ breeding of high-resin cannabis varieties that meet federal definitions for hemp, as defined by 0.3 percent delta-9 THC or less and contain large amounts of non-psychoactive CBD with many therapeutic applications.

The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a network of receptors responsible for managing various mental and bodily processes, such as mood, appetite, pain management, memory formation, sleep patterns and inflammation response. Hemp contains both CB1 and CB2 receptors while full spectrum CBD extracts typically contain numerous cannabinoids.

Hemp seeds and oils provide an all-natural source of protein and fat in food products such as beverages (juices, smoothies, protein drinks), plant-based milk alternatives, soups, sauces, dips and baked goods (cereals bars snacks). Furthermore, FDA has authorized its use as animal feed.

Hemp is legal in all 50 states

Although hemp is legal in most states, it still presents numerous challenges. Many states have attempted to redefine and restrict hemp products that contain potentially intoxicating delta-9 THC found in cannabis plants; this poses a major hurdle for hemp-derived CBD manufacturers who must ensure their products adhere to state regulations.

Hemp is a highly beneficial ingredient of functional foods, boasting many potential health advantages. When combined with adaptogens like ashwagandha and rhodiola, hemp provides synergistic effects that reduce stress, build resilience, promote physical and mental well-being and contribute to overall physical and mental well-being. Furthermore, hemp provides phytonutrients and fatty acids which support digestion, metabolism and immune function – thus making hemp an invaluable addition.

Mitch McConnell signed the Farm Bill into law on December 5, 2018, making hemp legal on a federal level. It defines hemp as any part of Cannabis sativa L. that produces seeds, derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers or acids with an equivalent delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration not exceeding 0.3% by dry weight basis.” This law change allows individuals to cultivate hemp for commercial purposes.

Hemp-derived CBD is safe

Hemp-derived CBD is safe to ingest and can be added to a wide variety of food items, including beverages (juices, smoothies, protein beverages and plant-based alternatives to dairy products), soups, dips spreads sauces dressings nutritional bars. Products featuring hemp-derived ingredients must list them by name in their ingredient lists and be certified as having no more than trace amounts of THC.

Hemp is a form of cannabis sativa that has been grown for centuries – even by U.S. presidents like Thomas Jefferson. Hemp contains less than 0.3% THC – the psychoactive compound responsible for producing feelings of euphoria when used recreationally – unlike marijuana which contains up to 20% THC and produces similar feelings of blissfulness.

Hemp-derived CBD oil is legal to purchase in most states and may help alleviate anxiety, depression and PTSD symptoms. Additionally, it may help improve sleep and appetite patterns, reduce inflammation and relieve pain – all without ever needing medications! CBD may even reduce drug cravings among people suffering from substance use disorders – research shows it eases addictions such as opiates cocaine nicotine addictions with great effectiveness – one study even demonstrated that CBD reduced drug cravings two to three times when prescribed to former heroin users!
