Diet supplements are non-human milk or infant formula foods and beverages given to infants for nutritional support. This systematic review included studies published between 1/1980 and 7/2016 that explored the correlation between types and amounts of diet supplements given and micronutrient status outcomes (iron, vitamin D, folate and B12 status) among infants and young children.
