CBD has found its way into numerous skincare products, often used to soothe inflammation-inducing conditions like acne or eczema.

Start each morning off right by cleansing with a CBD-infused cleanser to unclog pores and balance pH levels, followed by an anti-acne and hydrating toner for optimal skin health.

CBD facials come in the form of creams, oils and serums designed to meet various preferences and contain other skin-boosting ingredients.

Acne

CBD is quickly emerging as one of the premier skincare ingredients. It can be found in products from cleansers to serums and moisturizers; however, choosing which product suits you can be overwhelming – be sure to shop shrewdly and understand what features to look out for when selecting products containing CBD.

CBD’s primary advantage lies in its potential to manage acne-prone skin by helping regulate sebum production. Furthermore, it may reduce inflammation and redness associated with breakouts.

CBD has also been shown to reduce oxidative stress, which accelerates skin aging. This effect occurs because CBD enhances the endocannabinoid system’s protective functions against free radical damage; and with no evidence showing it makes acne worse (though always do a patch test first!), making it safe and useful in many instances (but always do a patch test beforehand!). Medical News Today follows an intensive product selection and vetting process and requires third-party testing before listing products in our Buyer’s Guide.

Anti-Aging

CBD is one of the most potent antioxidants – even more so than Vitamin C and E) available, making it an excellent ingredient to use in skincare to ward off premature aging. By neutralizing free radicals that damage cells and cause premature signs of aging such as sagging, pigmentation or wrinkles.

With star skincare ingredients like cucumber extract, hyaluronic acid and bakuchiol as key players, our exfoliating cleanser will unclog pores while rejuvenating your complexion for a youthful appearance. For added anti-age benefits combine it with our revitalising serum which works tirelessly to smooth away fine lines and dark spots for enhanced anti-age benefits.

CBD’s anti-aging effects extend beyond rejuvenating facial structures to also helping balance natural oils in the skin. CBD’s oil-regulating properties help balance sebum production and reduce excess oil production – two primary contributors to acne. Furthermore, its soothing and relaxing properties help alleviate issues like wrinkles, dullness and uneven tonedness of the skin.

Sensitive Skin

If your skin feels tight and itchy after using harsh beauty products or coming into contact with environmental triggers, you could have sensitive skin. There are ways you can manage its symptoms: for instance, simplify your beauty regimen and select products certified as COSMOS friendly; apply cool compresses directly onto your face for relief, or take an antihistamine when feeling itchy.

CBD has long been recognized for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, helping reduce fine lines and wrinkles while at the same time decreasing redness – especially among rosacea patients. It’s one of the few skincare ingredients known to reduce redness.

Furthermore, CBD may offer relief from various other skin issues and conditions, including eczema – an itchy chronic skin condition marked by dry patches with red inflamed patches – and psoriasis – which occurs when your immune system sends out too many skin cells, leading to thick scaly plaques on your body’s surface.

Oily Skin

CBD helps balance your skin’s natural oil production. Excess sebum production can contribute to acne breakouts by clogging pores, which allows bacteria to enter. CBD can regulate this overproduction of sebum to lessen acne flare-ups while simultaneously alleviating other common concerns like redness and dryness.

CBD can also be an effective ingredient to look out for in anti-ageing products, since its antioxidants help counteract free radical damage to maintain youthfulness. When selecting anti-ageing skincare products containing CBD as an ingredient, look for products containing high concentrations of the compound such as serums containing it to add it into your skincare routine; after cleansing and toning but prior to moisturizer application. Their lightweight formula absorbs quickly while amplifying their effects with other components found within skincare regimes.
