Regular physical activity provides many important health and lifestyle advantages — it helps prevent weight gain, maintains blood pressure levels, enhances bone and muscle health, reduce stress and depression levels, boost energy levels and even make for better sex life! Regular activity also extends lives while prolonging them as people age – both benefits that physical fitness provides!
Exercise benefits everyone regardless of age, sex or physical ability. To begin with light exercises such as walking several times each day and gradually increase intensity. Adults should strive for at least 150 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous aerobic activity and strength training each week (roughly 30 minutes five times each week). Furthermore, people should limit sedentary time as well as recreational screen time usage.
