Sparkling water can give you all of the fizz and taste of soda without all of its added sugar, artificial sweeteners or chemicals – as well as less calories than soda! Flavoured seltzer drinks also contain less energy than soda!

Coffee and tea provide an abundance of antioxidants, helping reduce inflammation and lower your risk for cardiovascular disease. They also contain magnesium, potassium and folic acid for further health benefits.

Orange Juice

Orange juice is one of the world’s most beloved juices, beloved both for its organoleptic qualities and high concentration of bioactive compounds. One cup of OJ provides nearly the full daily recommended intake (RDI) of vitamin C along with thiamin, potassium and folate (vitamin B9).

Studies show that orange juice (OJ) can improve immune function, decrease inflammation and oxidative stress levels, as well as promote beneficial microbiota in the gut. Unfortunately, OJ contains high amounts of natural and added sugars which could contribute to weight gain if consumed excessively; for optimal results consider choosing whole oranges or juice with pulp as they will prevent blood sugar spikes while increasing satiety.

Green Tea

Green tea, made from unfermented leaves, is an abundant source of polyphenols such as epigallocatechin gallate-3 (EGCG), which are powerful antioxidants capable of fighting free radicals which damage cells and DNA in our bodies, leading to various health conditions and problems.

Green tea contains L-theanine, an amino acid that acts as a natural stimulant that can improve focus and alertness. Studies suggest that moderate tea consumption can lower dementia risks as well as cognitive issues. If caffeine sensitivity is an issue for you, try decaffeinated green tea instead; otherwise avoid tea processed with ethyl acetate or carbon dioxide because these processes remove many beneficial plant compounds.

Coconut Water

Coconut water, the clear liquid found inside immature coconuts (Cocos nucifera), is an incredible natural health drink with an impressive nutritional profile, including many beneficial electrolytes like potassium.

Studies suggest it may help lower blood pressure and improve cholesterol markers in those with high triglycerides. Furthermore, it provides lauric acid which converts into monolaurin in your body to protect against bacteria, viruses and fungus growth.

Whole Foods Market sells an all-natural coconut water under their brand 365 label that features nothing other than pure and delectable coconut water, perfect for replenishing electrolytes after exercise or simply refreshing any time. Refrigerated bottles or shelf stable options are both available – an ideal way to stay hydrated on an active workout regimen!

Pomegranate Juice

Pomegranates are packed with antioxidants that fight free radicals, along with vitamin C and fiber content and small amounts of potassium.

Pom juice has been found to significantly decrease blood pressure. Furthermore, according to several studies it seems to reduce inflammation and enhance sperm quality for men suffering from semen issues. A 2014 study also confirmed this benefit of this beverage.

Pomegranate juice may help improve memory in older adults, and its extracts have been found to prevent cancer cell growth in test tubes. A cup of pomegranate juice provides vitamin C, folate and potassium. Try mixing some into sparkling water or smoothies for an indulgent beverage that’s low on sugar!

Kefir

Kefir is a fermented dairy drink containing millions of probiotic bacteria and makes for an alternative to yogurt with its more tart taste and lower lactose content. Perfect for adding to smoothies or using instead of milk to create creamy salad dressings and dips. Kefir can be found at certain supermarkets or online, or you can create your own by mixing in some grains of Kefir into milk!

Kefir contains beneficial lactic acid bacteria that convert lactose to lactic acid, making it much lower in lactose than regular milk. Studies have also demonstrated its high concentration of beneficial microorganisms – yeasts and bacteria which help fight infections such as Salmonella enteritidis or Listeria monocytogenes; for example isolated Lentilactobacillus kefiri strains were shown to possess antibacterial effects against them both.

Beet Juice

Beet juice is an incredible health booster. Packed with electrolytes to support nerve and muscle function, as well as vitamin C, antioxidants and nitrates – studies show drinking beet juice reduces systolic blood pressure within just hours!

Beet juice helps improve exercise performance by increasing stamina and blood flow, thanks to its nitrates being converted to nitric oxide that dilates blood vessels for improved oxygen delivery.

Begin enjoying beet juice either on its own or mixed into smoothies and other drinks, or use beet powder from natural food stores and online retailers.
