Vaginal Moisturizers

Vaginal moisturizers add moisture around and inside of the vagina. They may come in the form of creams or gels applied directly onto fingers for application around the vulva, or as suppositories that must be inserted with an applicator.

Women experiencing persistent dryness should visit an ob-gyn, who may recommend hormonal treatments or medications to alleviate symptoms. For mild symptoms, nonhormonal vaginal moisturizers/lubricants may provide some relief.

AH! YES Organic Vaginal Gel

This organic vaginal moisturizer stays in contact with intimate areas for an extended period of time, acting iso-osmotically to rehydrate tissues. Free of chemicals, fragrance, dyes, parabens, glycerin and petrochemicals as well as bio-adhesive natural hydrocolloids like flax gum and locust bean gum that gently adhere to vulva’s lining while providing moisture on demand, it features bio-adhesive natural hydrocolloids like flax gum and locust bean gum for added ease of use.

Vaginal and vulvar moisturizers should be applied at night as this is when they’re best absorbed into the skin. Also, it is beneficial to apply moisturizer before any form of lubricant application.

Many women experience vaginal dryness during perimenopause and menopause, but it can happen anytime during their lives – for instance during and post breastfeeding when estrogen levels decline due to increased prolactin levels.

Greenwashing in the personal care industry makes it difficult to know whether a product truly qualifies as organic. Food must meet certain standards established by a third party for labeling as such; nonfood items like personal lubricants aren’t required to carry this certification, however. To make sure you get high-quality organic personal lubricants that adhere to organic standards look for labels which state it has been certified by an unbiased third party organization.

Replens Long-Lasting Vaginal Moisturizer

Church & Dwight developed Replens as an over-the-counter (OTC) product to alleviate vaginal dryness symptoms. Their long-lasting gel is said to last up to three days and provide relief from occasional vaginal dryness or discomfort for women who experience it occasionally. Their product works by coating the surface of the vulva to reduce irritation while supplementing natural body lubrication systems while providing moisture to cells within it for long-lasting hydration – once cells regenerate naturally old cells are no longer present and thus eliminating Replens from our bodies naturally as old cells become obsolete while old cells themselves are expelled naturally from our bodies as new cells come back along with old cells containing old Replens products from our bodies through expulsion mechanisms in our bodies naturally.

This fragrant-free moisturizing gel comes with an applicator designed for discreet use similar to that found on tampons, making insertion easier than ever before. Packed with moisturizing ingredients like vitamin E and pro-vitamin B5 to lock water onto skin surface to hydrate it, it may make intimacy more comfortable on daily use and may make intimacy more satisfying for all parties involved.

This product is ideal for women of menopausal age or beyond, new mothers, cancer/chemotherapy patients and anyone experiencing dryness due to medications or tampons. It can be safely used before or during sex and is compatible with natural rubber latex, polyisoprene and polyurethane condoms; its low pH rating makes it suitable for use during fertility treatments as it doesn’t contain spermicide. Ideally if trying to conceive you should choose another lubricant with less low pH for better sperm protection if that would make sense;

K-Y Vaginal Lubricant

Astroglide and K-Y Jelly intimate lubricants make sexual intimacy more comfortable by reducing friction. Though these water or silicone-based lubricants don’t increase libido, they may help increase aroused sensations and alleviate itching or irritation caused by friction during playtime. Also safe for use with condoms!

Lubricant can be applied using disposable applicators found in tampon boxes or your fingers, although more convenient may be the use of suppositories, pill-shaped inserts that dissolve inside your vagina and absorb into tissue; using them may provide the lubrication you need more efficiently than liquid or cream vaginal moisturizers.

If you’re getting ready for sexual encounters or masturbation, start off right. Squeeze some drops of purple (Yours + Mine) or blue (Jelly) lubricant onto your penis or toy and spread it evenly across its surface. Since lubricants tend to dry out quickly, keep some close by in case more lubrication becomes necessary later. As this product was initially created for medical uses sterile-packed with no scent or taste and smoothly glides easily – which were both given high marks by women participating in independent clinical trials conducted by Proderm GmbH.
